Bangalore, India’s silicon city, has been ranked as the country’s top business destination as per findings of a survey. Chennai, Mumbai and Pune follow Bangalore in the rankings that are decided by human capital, city culture and basic quality of living.
Businessmen, entrepreneurs and corporate executives who are looking up to one of the world’s biggest emerging markets India to further their business and commercial interests would now be wishing to get hold of tickets on flights to Bangalore, the capital city of the Indian state of Karnataka.
As per a survey, Bangalore has been ranked as India’s top business destination in terms of infrastructure, human capital, city culture and basic quality of living. Executives who seek to push their business agenda in India are likely to be swayed by the findings of the survey and it is probable that corporate executives who desire to have the best of Indian business hospitality will now be willing to book tickets on flights to India’s silicon city, Bangalore. The city is followed by Chennai, Mumbai and Pune. The survey lists a total of 21 top business destinations in India.
Some may find it surprising that the country’s capital, New Delhi does not find a place in the list. However, Noida and Gurgaon from the National Capital Region have made it to the list at ranks 17th and 19th respectively.
The survey was conducted by Global Initiative for Restructuring Environment and Management (GIREM) and real estate consultancy firm DTZ. Interestingly, smaller Indian cities such as Indore (5th), Bhubaneswar (6th) and Coimbatore (7th) are giving top metropolises a run for their money to by emerging as the most business-friendly destinations in the country. Certain leading Indian tourist destinations like Jaipur (15) Kochi (10) have also made it to the list, offering yet another reason for people to invest on flights to these cities.
