Web community XING has joined Etihad Airways’ guest loyalty scheme, it has been announced.
People planning holidays to Dubai, Australia and other exotic locations may welcome news that Etihad Airways’ guest loyalty scheme has expanded, thanks to the addition of a new partner – XING.
Described as a “high-quality partner” by the carrier’s chief commercial officer Peter Baumgartner, XING is a web community that offers its members the chance to develop professional contacts and make use of networking opportunities.
The deal will mean that premium XING members will earn 5,000 Etihad Guest bonus miles when they take their first post-enrolment flight with the carrier.
Nelly Liebrecht, market development manager for the Middle East and North Africa at XING, which won a number of accolades at this year’s global Freddie Awards, commented: “I am confident that our members will see great value in this unique offer.”
Etihad Airways states that it has carried more than 17 million guests since it was first established in 2004.
