A project to build luxury accommodation in the heart of Dubai has been launched, it has been revealed.

Emirates property developer Hydra unveiled the plans to build two 32-storey towers housing apartments and hotel accommodation in Jumeirah Village to cater for people looking for a little bit extra from their holidays in Dubai.

Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim, chief executive of Hydra, said that the towers will add “colour and substance” to the lifestyle of residents.

“Today we are launching Hydra Twin Towers in the heart of Dubai, which will soon transport you to the laps of luxury and serenity of nature’s bounty,” he remarked.

It is estimated that the project will be completed in 2010, adding to Dubai’s now-famed portfolio of high-class accommodation.

Earlier this week, research firm Deloitte stated that the number of foreign nationals visiting the Middle East could go up by as much as ten per cent this year, driven mainly by demand for flights to Dubai.
