A property company has announced plans to increase the number of serviced apartments it holds in Dubai.
Ascott is hopeful that the complex will be fully operational by the end of the year and its location close to the Dubai International Financial Centre and the Dubai International Airport will prove popular with travellers.
Ronald Tay, chief investment officer of Ascott, explained: “The emirate hosts a wide array of international business, sports and leisure events throughout the year and these events attract a large number of foreign visitors annually.”
He added that the company is looking to further expand its serviced apartments business with locations in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Ascott’s property portfolio includes apartments in major international cities including Bangkok, Hanoi, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
