The world’s highest restaurant in Dubai has opened to the public.
At.mosphere is located on the 122rd floor of the Burj Khalifa tower and could appeal to those taking flights to Dubai in the near future.
The restaurant is 442 metres from the ground and is reached via a 57-second elevator ride – so maybe not the ideal choice of dining for holidaymakers with a fear of heights.
For those tempted to make the trip skywards, At.mosphere has two choices of menus. The top half of the establishment is a grill which offers a range of grilled, broiled or baked dishes, while the remaining space is dedicated to a lounge serving light lunches and afternoon teas.
The Burj Khalifa was opened the start of 2010 and is set to become a key tourist attraction for the state.
As well as the new restaurant, the world’s tallest building is also home to the first ever Armani Hotel – which opened in April and offers luxury accommodation for guests.
