A Dubai holiday event highlighting the perfect summer break has welcomed over 6,000 visitors.
John Felix, senior vice president, Emirates Holidays, speaking at the Arabian Travel Market, stressed that many more holidaymakers are undertaking extensive research before jetting off.
“They are not compromising on quality but they do want to make sure they get the break they need,” said Mr Felix.
He added the Emirates Holidays World event offers “a chance for people to actually talk to international representatives and travel experts as part of a fun day out”.
Dubai International airport has handled 26.9 million passengers so far this year – 16 per cent higher than at the same point in 2009.
