British Airways’ fans eagerly waiting to net tickets for international flights to travel between London to Los Angeles aboard airline’s sleek Airbus A380 aircraft can rejoice now. The flag carrier of the UK is all set to add A380 aircraft on its Red Carpet route that connects London and Los Angeles in the USA. The services will start from October 15, 2013, revealed various online sources.
Los Angeles in USA is all set to become the inaugural destination for British Airways’ first A380 aircraft. The airline is expected to receive its double-decker superjumbo aircraft in the month of July. The carrier has already started selling tickets for flights between USA and UK that are starting from October 15, 2013.
In addition, the airline has also launched a special scheme to celebrate the launch of its sleek A380. Under the scheme, return tickets on A380 flights on USA to UK sector will start from £499 in World Traveller (economy). Passengers looking to upgrade to World Traveller Plus (premier economy) seats may avail it at a special price of £380. Club World return tickets will start from £1,900 for passengers netting flights with the airline.
A380 can typically accommodate more than 450 passengers buying tickets on flights across different cabins on the USA-UK sector. The higher number of seats aboard the aircraft will ensure that budget travellers who are often to be seen in a look out for relatively cheap air deals with the airline are a happy lot.
