Four finalists in a photography competition will be flown out on flights to Thailand to compete for the grand prize.

Photographers are being invited to submit their four best photos in the opening round of the Thailand Travel Photography Competition.Run by Tourism Thailand and Thai Airways, the contest is offering people a chance to take pictures of some of the country’s most undiscovered regions.

To enter the competition, photographers must submit four of their best prints by July 6th, with the four finalists set to board flights to Thailand on July 25th for a week-long tour of the nation.

Each of the people lucky enough to reach the last stages of the event will undertake a trip around some of Thailand’s most remote areas, including Angthong, Samut Sakon, Ratchaburi and Lopburi.

They will take snapshots during their visit, with the overall winner receiving £500 of vouchers for photographic equipment.

Anyone who is jetting off on flights to Thailand later this year who wants to have a taste of the country before they go may want to visit the Tourism Thailand show garden at the Hampton Court Flower Show.

The design of the entry was inspired by riverside houses in Bangkok.
