People who have booked flights to South Africa for this summer’s World Cup might be interested in a new guide book about the tournament.

Anyone who has booked flights to South Africa so that they can support their national team may want to know a bit more about the World Cup.

If this is the case, then purchasing a guide book to the tournament could be the solution and one travel operator has launched its own this week.

Fans’ Guide to the World Cup 2010 is sponsored by Thomson Sport and offers football fanatics a book with “all there is to know about the qualifying groups” for this year’s competition.

Written by Harry Harris, an award-winning sports journalist, it will give those attending the football tournament a chance to brush up on all the teams in the qualifying stages, as well as providing information about the venues and performance predictions.

England fans will no doubt have high hopes for their team this summer, who are in a qualifying group with the USA, Algeria and Slovenia.
