Etihad, the flag carrier of UAE is boosting its flights frequency to Pakistan in order to offer more choices and travel options to fliers seeking tickets on flights operating between the two destinations.
Etihad Airways, the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates, is increasing flight frequency to Pakistan, offering added options to business travellers and leisure vacationers who remain on a mad scramble for tickets on flights operating between Pakistan and the UAE. The carrier has enhanced its services to Islamabad from nine to 11 a week and updated the winter schedule.
With the launch of the new service, the airline now offers tickets for 31 weekly flights from four cities in Pakistan namely Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar.
It is going to deploy state of the art A320 aircraft in a two-class configuration, providing tickets for about 16 Pearl Business Class and 120 Economy class seats.
“The addition of the new flights is further proof of the strong commercial and cultural ties between Pakistan and UAE.” said Kevin Knight, chief strategy and planning officer of the airline.
As per the schedule, flights (EY233) bound for Islamabad will depart Abu Dhabi at 15:25 and will arrive in Pakistan’s capital at 12:35. For the return flights, EY234 will leave Pakistan at 13:20 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 16:05. It will operate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Abu Dhabi based airline has also revealed new winter timings for services to Lahore and Peshawar commencing from October and November respectively. Travel experts believe that the new schedule will directly benefit the travellers seeking flight tickets and substantially improve connections to various destinations in Arabian Gulf, the United Kingdom, Europe and North America.
