Anyone booking flights to India will find a wide range of attractions waiting for them in the country, it has been claimed.
There is too much to see and do in India for holidaymakers to take it all in on a single trip, one travel expert has stated.
Louise Newton, PR and marketing manager at Somak Holidays, commented that “one visit simply isn’t enough”.
People who are booking flights to India for their first trip will often head to the Golden Triangle region, which includes Delhi, Jaipur and Agra.
This tour acts as a good introduction to classic India, according to Ms Newton, although she stressed that there are plenty of other places to see on holidays to India.
She made particular mention of Goa – which is renowned for its palm-fringed beaches -and Kerala’s backwaters, where tourists can take a relaxing riverboat trip.
Earlier this month, India’s tourism minister said that the country still has a lot of “hidden potential” for further development within its travel industry.
