People looking for a healthy break that will relax and rejuvenate should consider heading to Goa, it has been claimed.
Anyone who has booked flights to Goa but has yet to make plans for their accommodation should consider a spa break, on journalist has stated.
Writing for the Times, Paul Croughton picked out some of the best healthy breaks around the world.
The Sanda Wellness retreat was among his selections, which is said to leave guests feeling “calm and serene”.
Mr Croughton described it as a “total body-rebalancing retreat” with a programme of activities such as yoga, ayurvedic treatments and life-coaching sessions designed to make you feel wonderful by the time you leave.
He also pointed out that the spa’s location will probably contribute due to its “open spaces and fabulous interiors”.
On arrival, a detailed analysis of your body and wellbeing is undertaken so that guests can compare the results when they leave.
The Indian destination is well known for its palm-fringed sand beaches and boasts a number of spas, with many specialising in the ancient south Asian health regime of Ayurveda.
