Continental Airlines has launched its mobile boarding service at London Heathrow.
Passengers who have booked Continental Airlines flights to India could find that the boarding experience at London Heathrow Airport is more stress-free with the company’s new mobile boarding system.
The US carrier announced the introduction of the service today (February 26th), which will provide travellers with a paperless boarding pass sent directly to their mobile phones.
Continental’s vice-president of reservations and ecommerce Martin Hand said: “We are pleased to add Heathrow to our growing list of airports we serve with mobile boarding passes. Customers have told us that this is the type of product improvement they want.”
He added that the airline hopes to roll it out across more of its international and domestic destinations.
The carrier flies to several Indian destinations including Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad, as well as other cities in Asia and Australasia, such as Bangkok, Sydney and Perth.
In total, Continental flies to 135 locations around the world.
