The newly-established joint Malaysia-Indonesia airline, Malindo Air is all set to offer tickets on international flights between Kuala Lumpur and New Delhi with effect from June 2013. The airline started its operations from March 22, 2013.

Foreign travellers who are often to be found looking for tickets deal on cheap flights between India and Malaysia will very soon have added flight options at their disposal.

The newly-established joint Malaysia-Indonesia low cost carrier, Malindo Air is all geared up to offer tickets on international flights connecting India’s thriving capital, Delhi and Malaysia’s colourful capital, Kuala Lumpur with effect from June 2013, revealed airline’s press release.

Malindo Air has mapped out a strategy to offer tickets on flights to as many as 12 destinations in the year 2013 and India’s capital city of New Delhi is all set to become the carrier’s maiden international destination.

Route map available on the Malindo Air’s official website indicates that India’s popular cities of Cochin, Trichy, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata are also proposed destination for the carrier. Hence, travellers may expect the airline to start offering tickets on international flights to these proposed destinations in India in the near future.

Currently, the carrier is offering tickets aboard its new B787-900 extended range aircraft to serve regional routes. The airline offers 15kgs of free baggage, snacks and free in-flight entertainment. Furthermore, carrier has come out with a unique business class offering which is sure to lure budget-conscious passengers who wish to net tickets for business class flights between India and Malaysia without splurging much.

Various Internet sources hint that Kuala Lumpur International Airport would be Malindo Air’s main transit hub with Kota Kinabalu as its secondary hub.
