IndiGo has announced its plans to start direct flights between South India’s popular city of Chennai and Singapore from March 1, 2013. The carrier is also offering an all inclusive return fare scheme on its new service to delight tickets buyers.
IndiGo Launches Daily Flights between Singapore and Chennai
India’s popular no frills carrier, IndiGo recently announced launch of new daily direct flights connecting Singapore and Chennai in South India from March 1, 2013, revealed online sources.
A senior airline official said, “With rising business and tourism stemming from the region, IndiGo is determined to provide the best travel experience to all those who wish to fly to Singapore from southern part of the country.”
The airline is also planning to offer tickets on cheap flights services to Singapore from Hyderabad and Bangalore in India in the coming future.
The official further said, “There are strong trade and tourism ties between southern region of India and Singapore and travellers have requirements of low fares by an Indian airline.”
India’s popular cheap flights operator will also be introducing a special return tickets deal to delight its tickets buyers on the new route. Under the scheme, the carrier will be offering special return tickets of INR 15,998. Bookings for IndiGo’s newest international service from South India, to be launched from March 1, have already begun from January 2, 2013.
With its new daily direct flights, the carrier is expected to offer more flexible choices to business and leisure flyers who are often found looking for tickets on direct services on the route for swift connections.
In a recent development, IndiGo started offering tickets on its second daily and non-stop flights connecting India’s capital city of Delhi to Dubai and Bangkok. Additionally, the airline also offers tickets on flights connecting Hyderabad and Dubai.
India’s largest airline by market share, IndiGo presently offers tickets on 373 daily flights connecting around 33 destinations.
