George Clooney has spoken about how much he enjoyed paying a visit to Delhi recently.
Holidaymakers could be planning to book flights to Delhi soon after George Clooney voiced his praise for the city and its people.
The actor spoke the Hindustan Times about his new film The Ides of March and spoke of how he had visited the city some years ago.
Reflecting on his time in the capital, he commented that the people there were “warm and hospitable”.
He explained that he had been there with his role as a UN ambassador and had spent time with some of the country’s officials.
The newspaper noted that many people from Hollywood have spent time in India recently, including Tom Cruise and Hugh Jackman.
“I really enjoyed my stay in your capital city and would love to visit again,” Clooney said.
Some travellers could be planning to take flights to Delhi next month as the country celebrates the 100th anniversary of it being named the capital of India by King George V.
