Dubai’s low-cost airline flydubai is reportedly hoping to expand its presence in India by offering flights to the touristy Indian city, Aurangabad and serving tickets seekers.

Flydubai to Increase Flights Network in India, Say Media Reports

Dubai-based no-frills carrier, flydubai is looking to expand its network in India. The airline, which currently offers tickets on flights to three destinations in India, is hoping to start more flights to cities across the country, as per media sources.

“We have expressed interest in flying to other airports as we are eager to further expand our network in India,” an airline spokesperson was quoted in news reports.

“We will continue to work closely with the Indian authorities to increase the low-cost connectivity between India and the UAE and provide a greater number of affordable flights for all passengers,” he continued.

The operator that is renowned among its patrons for offering cheap deals on flights tickets offers services to Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Lucknow in India. The carrier is now mulling to offer flights to Aurangabad, a city in India’s western coastal of Maharashtra, as per a report published in Times of India, one of country’s leading English daily. The report stated that flydubai was interested in starting direct flights to Aurangabad, given the city airport has its customs office upgraded.

Presently, the airline maintains a fleet of 23 brand new Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft and offers tickets options for flights to 51 destinations. Recently, the budget carrier started flights operations to 10 new destinations including to Bucharest,Skopje, Kiev and Sana’a, offering cheap options to tickets seekers.
