Air France has announced that it saw an increase in passenger numbers during the month of September.

Passengers travelling on flights to India and other countries with Air France may have been among those who boosted its passenger numbers last month.

The carrier has announced that it saw a 9.3 per cent increase in travellers during the four-week period.

It saw increases in travellers across many areas of the world, with a 12.2 per cent increase in travellers to the Americas and a 9.7 per cent lift in the amount of people taking flights to Asian nations.

Announcing its winter schedule, the carrier also revealed it will be offering a 3.4 per cent rise in capacity, with long-haul numbers expected to rise by 1.9 per cent, with Latin America and Asia seen as the main targets.

People on flights to India and other locations with Air France could be on the look out for the company’s new logo, which has been included on its in-flight menus and in departure lounges.
