The UK and Ireland director of the Egyptian State Tourist Office has advised those taking flights to Egypt to make sure they visit the famous Pyramids.
“Timing is very important. I usually visit the Pyramids in the afternoon. They are less crowded and the sun light is perfect to take a picture of all three pyramids from the panorama area,” explained Mr Ramy.
A survey conducted by Truprint discovered that one in five Brits named the Pyramids of Egypt as their favourite landmark – beating competition from London’s Big Ben, France’s Eiffel Tower and Australia’s Sydney Opera House.
Mr Ramy also advised travellers to Egypt to consider taking a Nile cruise during their stay. The city of Cairo also offers a wide choice of cultural experiences for holidaymakers.
