People travelling through Dubai International Airport can now benefit from using a new prepaid card.

People on flights to Dubai could find that their experience in Dubai International Airport is made easier by using a prepaid card.

Dubai Airports, Dubai Duty Free and MasterCard Worldwide have worked together to create the DBX Connect card, which will allow people to make purchases in the local currency of the United Arab Emirates Dirham.

Those who use the cards can also access a wide range of offers and discounts which are available exclusively in the airport’s shops, as well as several noted hotels and spas.

Paul Griffiths, chief executive officer of Dubai Airports, said: “Our goal is to continually find innovative ways to create a uniquely positive and memorable service experience for our passengers.”

He added that it offers both good value and greater convenience to shoppers.

Some people could be planning to take flights to Dubai after seeing the forthcoming Mission Impossible movie, which features an exciting action sequence on the Burj Khalifa tower.
