Dubai is an ideal place in which to base ambitious business operations, it has been recommended.
Companies looking to expand their operations in the Middle East should turn to Dubai in their quest, they have been advised.
The emirate is a prime location for setting up a business base, according to the state’s department of tourism and commerce marketing, especially as it appears to have survived the economic crisis intact.
A spokesperson for the department added: “The emirate’s progressive infrastructure offers investors and businesses first-class facilities which are considered among the best in the world.”
They continued that Dubai has developed into a “magnet” for companies that are seeking to develop their businesses, not only in the Middle East but also in central Asia and Africa.
Dubai International Airport released figures last month which show that the hub received 3,729,879 passengers in August 2009, compared to 3,368,260 during the same time in 2008.
The hub has broken the three million passenger barrier twice so far this year – once in July and again in August.
