A gold conference in Dubai will see new varieties of the precious metal unveiled.
Travellers on flights to Dubai who like gold jewellery could be interested to hear than new forms of the metal are to be showcased at a forthcoming exhibition.
The Eighth Dubai City of Gold Conference is an annual event held for the gold jewellery and diamond industries and forecasts the trends which will be seen in the jewellery sector in the coming months, AMEinfo.com reported.
Held on November 13th 2011, the event will see the new styles of gold showcased for the first time, with colours such as blue and purple put on display, as well as gold alloy effects and new gold coverings.
“We are bringing some of the industry’s most influential speakers to Dubai so that they can share their knowledge and provide insights on the latest trends in precious metals and diamonds,” said Anan Fakhreddin, chairman of the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group.
Many fans of reality TV star Kim Kardashian could be planning to take flights to Dubai soon after she praised the emirate during a recent visit.
