Travellers planning holiday breaks or business tours to India from Bahrain can now have more flight alternatives to choose from. The private national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain Bahrain Air has increased the frequency of its flights to India connecting Trivandrum from 13th June 2012.
As per the online media reports the airline will raise its flight frequency to six from four on Bahrain-Trivandrum route. With these additional flights to Trivandrum Bahrain Air’s total toll of flights to India has increased to 20 flights per week connecting Indian destinations like Cochin Calicut and Mumbai besides Trivandrum.
The increased frequency follows a positive response from travellers which has experienced a steady boost in the airline’s load factor on the route.
Flights are scheduled to depart daily (except Monday) from Bahrain at 9.25 p.m. and arrive in Trivandrum International Airport early morning at 4.15 a.m. The return flight departs daily (except Tuesday) from Trivandrum at 5.00 a.m. and arrives in Bahrain International Airport at 7.30 a.m.
The airline also said that the launch of additional flights would help the travellers in enjoying a convenient and flexible air travel along with genuine care and numerous opportunities to net tickets on cheap flights to India. The news has brought big smiles for the budget travellers seeking cheap flight deals with the airline.
The news reports reveal that with over 350000 Keralites who reside in Bahrain India remains a key market for Bahrain Air. The new flights are expected to strengthen the presence of the airline in India.
