Russell Watson is planning to book flights to Sydney later this year.
Opera singer Russell Watson has spoken of some of his favourite travel memories and revealed that he hopes to book flights to Sydney later this year.
In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, he explained that he hopes to visit the Australian city.
“If I can squeeze it in, I’ll visit my friend in Sydney who has an apartment that overlooks the Sydney Opera House,” he commented.
When it comes to travelling, Mr Watson advised people to wear something casual on the plane, noting that it is more important to be comfortable than to look stylish.
Anyone visiting Sydney as part of their holidays to Australia may want to take in a show at the world-famous performance space.
Despite its name, the Sydney Opera House boasts a range of plays, musicals and, of course, operas.
Among the shows scheduled for later this year are a comic version of Shakespeare play Macbeth and a cabaret show with Trevor Ashley in I’m Every Woman.
