Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge on a cheap holiday in Australia and enjoy the recently made-over base at the site.
Those in receipt of cheap flights to Sydney may like to test their adventurous streaks with a climb on one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Last week, BridgeClimb Sydney, which organises climbs on the Harbour Bridge, unveiled a new improved visitor centre.
It also launched a brand new experience – the Express Climb – which allows those on cheap holidays in Australia to don a BridgeSuit and scale the famous arches in just over two hours.
BridgeClimb’s base also now boasts greater environmental features, including a 7.3-metre ceiling fan that can move up to 80,000 litres of air in one minute and cool climbers on a humid day.
Overall, three unique climbing experiences are available at the bridge and can be embarked upon during the brightness of daytime, the crack of dawn or twilight.
The bridge was officially opened in 1932, has earned the nickname the coat hanger and has been climbed by famous faces such as Matt Damon, Justin Timberlake, Robert De Niro, Teri Hatcher and Prince Harry.
