The Gold Coast is a great place to take a holiday due to the number of fantastic events on offer.
Travellers planning to take cheap flights to Australia could head to the Gold Coast in order to experience the number of fantastic events which take place there every year.
Martin Winter, chief executive officer at Gold Coast Tourism, said that the sporting events held in the region are not to be missed.
“Already this year, the city has secured the lucrative Australian leg of the International Rugby Sevens for the next four years,” Mr Winter said, adding that it is hoped the region will be able to secure even more sporting tournaments in the future.
He added that as well as getting to watch some world-class sporting events taking place, the region is also home to a wealth of stunning coastlines and hinterlands.
Some people who take cheap flights to Australia could be planning to take advantage of the new business class seats which have been created on many domestic internal journeys.
