Air France is set to increase its number of flights to Japan in the coming months, thanks to a new addition to its fleet of aircraft.Travelio reports that the airline has ordered a total of 12 A380s – considered to be the world’s largest civil aircraft with some 538 seats. By October 5th, the airline anticipates it will be offering a daily flight between the two destinations.

Tokyo is the first Asian destination to benefit from Air France’s new A380 aircraft.

Air France passengers travelling between London and Paris on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays before August 30th may also get to experience the new A380.

As part of a summer promotion, the flagship aircraft has been flying between the two cities since June 12th.

The other double-decker A380s currently in use by Air France travel from Paris to New York and Johannesburg.
