Travellers booking holidays to Thailand could be pleased to learn that resorts cater for a wide range of interests.
People booking holidays to Egypt or flights to Thailand with their other half may be interested to know that many resorts cater for couples with very different hobbies.
A travel company specialising in scuba diving holidays has picked some of its favourite resorts where scuba diving is one of many activities on offer.
The Red Sea in Egypt boasts holiday spots including Hurghada, Dahab and Sharm el Sheikh.
It is a popular dive destination but resorts such as the Hilton Fayrouz in Sharm provide a range of other sporting activities – from tennis to volleyball – and run excursions to Mount Sinai or St Catherine’s Monastery.
Thailand boasts some “fantastic” diving according to Regal Dive, but that is not the only pursuit on offer to visitors.
Elephant trekking, white-water rafting and golf are examples of other things to do in and around Phuket. The company names the Amari Coral Beach resort as one of its favourites and recommends the hotel’s Sivara spa.
Regal Dive also points out that, as many resorts now offer half-day diving packages, there is no need for one partner to spend all their time underwater while the other is left on land.
