Travellers looking for an eco-friendly resort with “old-fashioned Outback hospitality” for their stay in South Australia may wish to consider the Rawnsley Park Station.

According to South Australia Tourism, the accommodation, set in 29,000 acres of land, is an environmentally sensitive destination “devoid of mobile phone reception”.

Located approximately 400 kilometres from Adelaide, Rawnsley Park is a collection of eco villas in the Flinders Ranges.

As a special feature, the villas include fabric ceilings, which can be retracted at night to provide guests with a clear Southern Australian view of the stars from the bedroom.

Rawnsely Park Station has been accredited with an Advanced Ecotourism award and has accommodation suitable for a range of budgets.

As well as eight luxury villas, the resort offers apartments for groups and pets and a caravan park with cabins and on-site vans.

Travellers taking a holiday in Australia on October 5th may wish to attend the Parklife Festival in Adelaide.

Located in the Botanic Park in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, Parklife is a dance and music festival that tours Australia.
