Bungee jumping

Have you ever wanted to let go of all your inhibitions and just take the plunge into the unknown? Bungee jumping is just the thing for you to do then. There are different places in New Zealand where you can jump off bridges, rail viaducts, as well as special high points designed for the purpose. If you are up for it, try the Nevis Bungee, which is supposed to be highest point with a 134 metre plunge. It is done off the Auckland Harbour Bridge and is set across the unbelievably gorgeous Waitemata Harbour. Just Ahead of the Huka Falls, there is another beautiful bungee location called the Taupo Bungee, wherein you are just above the Waikato River after a 154 feet plunge.

River rafting

Another activity New Zealand is famous for is the river rafting. There are streams here that range from Grade 1 to Grade 5 in increasing order of intensity. These rafting trips range from a couple of hours to up to 5 days, where you can explore the interiors of forests and the Wild West Coast. There are other places around Queenstown and Christchurch where you can find the best rafting trails with professionals who will make sure you have a safe trip.

Skydiving
