Shopaholics may want to grab a flight to Thailand this summer for the third annual Grand Sale, it has been reported.

Taking place across shops, hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions in the country, the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale will last from June 1st until August 31st.

According to Tourism Thailand, “Thailand never disappoints” and most shopping malls and stores will be offering discounts of between ten and 70 per cent.

The main shopping areas in Bangkok can be found along the Ploenchit and Sukhumvit Roads.

Many of the stores taking part in the capital can be easily reached by Skytrain or Metro, but the event extends further into other areas.

Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Rai, Hua Hin, Nakhon Ratchasima, Cha-am, Udorn, Samui Island, Thani, Krabi and Hat Yai are also involved.

Bangkok.com suggests that a shopping trip to the capital city is not complete without a visit to one of the many markets such as the Chatuchak Weekend Market.
