Taking a hen party overseas could now mean a relaxing break in a beautiful spa.

Taking a trip overseas for a hen party is now a very popular choice for many brides to be.

While for some people this will create the image of having a night out on the town, many brides are being more creative and looking for activities that they would really enjoy doing.

Wedding writer Jane Anderson said one emerging trend for overseas hen parties is for the bride and her friends to head to enjoy some indulgent treatments ahead of the big day.

“Brides will often do something like go out to a spa weekend somewhere, or even one of these honeymoon boot camps where you go and get pampered and get fit as well,” Ms Anderson explained.

Thailand is a wonderful place to try if you are looking for some rest and relaxation, with the stunning spas the country is famous for being found in both its major cities and in its stunning coastal towns.
