Shopping discounts will be available to travellers who book a trip to Thailand between June 16th and August 15th.

A trip abroad is not complete without a browse of the local shops to pick up some gifts or souvenirs and those planning a Thailand holiday may be able to get more for their money this summer.

Between June 16th and August 15th, the country’s tourism authority is organising a sale that gives visitors discounts on a wide range of products.

Those seeking an authentic Thai souvenir will be able to pick up handmade home decorations and products hand-woven from Thai silk, while prices for brand-name clothing and accessories will also be lower for a limited period.

In addition, sportswear, electrical equipment and sports equipment will also lowered in price.

The promotion means tourists travelling on a budget will have no excuse not to pick up some items to remind them of their time in the country, or purchase unique birthday or Christmas presents for friends and family back home.
