People going on holidays to South Africa in early April may be pleased to know that they will be able to catch the opening of an exciting new attraction.

One&Only Cape Town was originally intended to open in early May, but it has now been announced that it will be ready to go a little sooner than anticipated.

The resort will be situated on the Victoria & Alfred waterfront and will include 131 rooms with views of Table Mountain, as well as Gordon Ramsay’s Maze restaurant and a Nobu outlet.

Sol Kerzner, chairman of the resort’s owner Kerzner International, said: “With Gordon Ramsay and Nobuyuki Matsuhisa lending their talents to this project, I’m confident that this resort will become the ultimate gourmet retreats in South Africa.”

Earlier this week, Cape Town was revealed by Frommers as one of the world’s best destinations for holidaymakers, calling it a “feast” for the senses.
