The renowned Ellerman House hotel in Cape Town could appeal to those buying flights to South Africa as it plans to introduce Apple iPads into all of its room over the coming months. It is expected that the hotel will be the first in South Africa to enable guests to make use of iPads to access a wide range of information about the local area, as well as reading magazines and books online, reports Easier.

General manager, Nick Dreyer, explained that iPads are ideal for providing hotel information to those staying at the Cape Town resort.

He added: “Every guest at Ellerman House will have a quick, easy, convenient and enjoyable way of enhancing their stay with us in line with their personal preferences.”

Ellerman House offers guests an amazing view over the ocean, a spar and an extensive wine collection. The hotel is also opening to add a further villa to its accommodation options in 2011.

The resort is ideally located from a number of key South African attractions including Table Mountain, Robben Island and Cape Point.
