Bangalore may soon see the introduction of high speed trains, which can travel to Mysore in 30 minutes.

It may soon be possible to travel from Bangalore to Mysore in 30 minutes by train after it was announced a high speed rail connection is being planned.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has revealed it is planning to create a connection that will travel between the two cites at 350 km per hour.

Principal advisor to the DMRC E Sreedharan wrote to chief minister Sadananda Gowda to state the group is willing to carry out a feasibility study to ascertain if creating the connection is possible.

The route between the two cities is known for its congested roads and the new route will ease travel to Namma Mysore.

Bangalore is considered to be one of the fastest growing cities in Asia and home to over six million people.

It is home to a number of attractions, including the 200-year-old Tipu’s armoury, which is situated close to Bangalore Medical College.
