A Bollywood movie star has teamed up with Etihad Airways to launch a new dance competition.

British travellers with a passion for Indian movies are being encouraged to show off their best Bollywood dance moves as part of a new Etihad Airways competition.

Indian film star Katrina Kaif launched the competition, Next Stop Bollywood, which will see movie-lovers uploading videos of themselves to the airline’s Facebook page.

The winner, as chosen by the popular vote, will get a $5,000 (£3,000) cash prize, two Pearl Business Class tickets and five nights in a five-star hotel, as well as dinner with Katrina herself.

Katrina Kaif is well-known throughout India for her performances in modern Bollywood films such as Singh is Kinng and Namastey London.

Runner-up prizes include pairs of tickets to anywhere on the Etihad network of 66 international destinations.

The competition is now accepting entries, and the winners will be announced by Katrina on May 20th.

Etihad operates several routes across Europe, India and the Middle East, including flights to Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bahrain and Manchester.
