Christmas time could be an ideal time to visit Goa, those considering holidays to India have been advised.

The popular beach resort benefits from temperatures of around 30 degrees C during this time and visitors will be delighted by the blue skies, Goaway attests.

“Goa is shedding its image as a backpacker’s retreat and is increasingly attracting holidaymakers for its magnificent scenic beauty, stunning beaches and colonial architecture,” a spokesperson for the firm commented.

In addition, the climate is much less humid over our festive season than may be the case at other times of the year and the water is still mild enough to take a leisurely dip in.

Earlier this month, cricket reporter Tristan Holme said how much he enjoys going on holidays to Goa during his spare time at the close of cricket tournaments.

He commented that the resort has something for everyone, party animals and those seeking peace and quiet alike.
