Egypt continues to build on its reputation for ancient discovery.

Tourists taking flights to Egypt will undoubtedly want to experience the country’s ancient civilization and its historic monuments.

Nowhere is this more apparent than at the Pyramids of Giza. The Wonders of the World climb high into the Cairo sky and evoke a great sense of  tradition and human endeavour.

However, the sands of Egypt are littered with relics of its glorious past.

Recently tourist authorities announced they were reopening the tomb of Queen Meresankh III – the granddaughter of Khufu – of Great Pyramid fame – and they are making new discoveries all the time.

Satellite archaeologist Angela Micol believes she may have found two previously unidentified pyramid structures by using Google Earth.

The Archaeology News Network reports that the new site could contains buildings in a very clear formation – similar to the diagonal alignment seen in the Giza Plateau pyramids.
