If you’re going on a holiday to Dubai, why not make the trip even more special by staying in one of the emirate’s quirkiest hotels?

This is the suggestion of Isla Campbell, writing for California’s Best Syndication, who has put together five of the most memorable places to stay in the city.

Top of the list is Atlantis the Palm, which has one of the world’s most adventurous water parks, a huge aquarium and submerged rooms for visitors to enjoy.

Meanwhile, the Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa is made up of eco-friendly tens and offers tourists the chance to sleep in the shadow of the Hajar Mountains.

The Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates has an indoor ski complex so that tourists can both ski and sunbathe on the same day, while the Burj Al Arab requires the use of a submarine to get to its rooms.

Finally, the Jumeirah Beach offers the eye candy (it is shaped like an enormous wave), as well as the Wild Wadi water rides.

“With so many quirky hotels available to choose from, the most difficult decision you may have is deciding which hotel best suits your Dubai holiday needs,” Ms Campbell commented.

The Beckham family are currently staying in the Burj Al Arab as part of David’s football commitments.
