Holidaymakers heading on a holiday to Dubai may be inspired to learn a few new steps and take to the dance floor as a full programme of dance events draws closer.

The annual Dubai Dance Festival “is packed with enough events to give anyone dance fever”, claimed events guide website WhatsOnWhen.

Running from June 10th to 13th in the Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre, the event will offer workshops to help people find their dancing feet, parties to allow visitors to strut their stuff and shows to impress and inspire.

Workshops at the festival will cover many different kinds of dance from tap and hip-hop to African dance and belly dancing, covering over 20 hours of classes.

On the Friday night, holidaymakers may wish to attend the Land of Terrancania, the Dance Spirits of the Amazon show.

This year will be the second year of the festival after a successful event in 2008.
