The Ritz-Carlton in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has officially opened to the public.

The Ritz-Carlton in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has officially opened to the public.

Offering 341 rooms, it is the second Ritz-Carlton property in the state and could appeal to those takingĀ flights to Dubai, as it is 20 minutes from Dubai International Airport.

Herve Humler, president and chief operating officer for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, said: “The company philosophy is to design hotels that are casually elegant, with the occasional classical influence as appropriate.

“Being able to expand our presence in Dubai and be part of a region of substantial growth is a tremendous opportunity.”

The hotel is ideally located for business travellers as it is the only hotel directly linked to the DIFC. Guests will also be able to access the wide range of facilities offered by the DIFC including a number of leading restaurants and bars plus enjoy the hotel’s health club and spa.
