Rezidor Hotel Group has revealed plans to add a new Dubai hotel to its portfolio.
It will be the fourth Rezidor Blu Hotel in the emirate and will complement the existing hotels of Dubai Deira Creek, Dubai Marina and Dubai Media City.
Kurt Ritter, president and chief executive officer of Rezidor, said: “We see a promising potential especially for business travellers and the new hotel benefits from an excellent location near the main commercial areas.”
The new hotel will be located within walking distance of the Dubai Mall and is 10km from Dubai’s international airport. Features of the new resort will include a number of bars, two restaurants and conference rooms, as well as a business centre and lounge.
Rezidor currently has more than 40 hotels, with 87,000 rooms, in 62 countries.
