Madonna has announced she will play a second concert on her forthcoming tour in Abu Dhabi.

Madonna has announced she is planning to perform a second gig in Abu Dhabi following the high demand for her first night in the emirate.

The singer is heading out on a global tour in the summer months in support of her latest album and announced she would be playing her first ever show in Abu Dhabi on June 3rd.

Tickets for this performance went on sale on Monday and all 22,000 sold out in under two hours, the organisers have confirmed.

Following this high demand, the Material Girl singer is now to perform a second concert on June 4th at the Yas Island venue.

Fans that missed out on tickets for the first show who are eager not to miss their chance again can get their hands on them when they go on sale on March 5th.

A number of big stars are set to hit the road in the summer, with Elton John also confirming he will be playing a concert in Abu Dhabi at the same concert hall.
