British travellers looking to catch flights to Bangkok or Johannesburg via Abu Dhabi can get 20 per cent off with Etihad for the next three days.

Abu Dhabi-based airline Etihad has extended its early summer getaway offer, meaning British travellers looking to book long-haul trips via the UAE have another three days to get their flights sorted.

The Up, Up and Away promotional fares are available until May 26th, and routes on offer include flights to Abu Dhabi from London for 2,935 dirhams (£500).

Once you’ve arrived in the UAE, you can then catch onward connections to a range of popular long-haul destinations, such as Bangkok and Johannesburg, both of which are available for under 3,000 dirhams each way.

This makes for a 20 per cent discount on Etihad’s regular fares, provided your outward flight is before June 14th.

Those looking to extend their stop-over in Abu Dhabi can make use of Etihad’s complimentary luxury coach service to Dubai Marina Mall.

Furthermore, Diamond First and Pearl Business Class passengers can get a complimentary limousine transfer to anywhere in the UAE.
