The Emirates Golf Club will be the venue for the MiXTAPE Rewind 2012 gig on November 16th.
Dubai may be one of the most technologically up to date places on Earth, but for one date next month it will all be about the cassette once more.
Fans of 90s music could try and book flights to Dubai for the MiXTAPE Rewind 2012 gig at the Emirates Golf Club if they want to see a host of their favourite acts all perform on the same stage.
Haddaway, Snap!, Go West, Culture Beat, No Mercy and Ace of Base’s Jenny Berggren are some of the acts that will be playing on November 16th.
“MiXTAPE Rewind is a culmination of everything we remember about the 90s music; music that remind us of images, words, fleeting emotions and even make us chuckle,” said Mario Zakhary, managing director at Sundance Events – which is organising the event.
He added that all the artists have been painstakingly chosen to create a special nostalgic feel for the debut event.
