The elegant hotels in Dubai could be improved further with news of an investment boost

Hotels in Dubai could be set to see some major improvement works as plans are being discussed to increase investment into the area.

The Arabian Hotel Investment Conference is currently taking place in the emirate at the Madinat Jumeirah resort and 550 delegates have met to discuss the changes being seen across the industry and the global economy.

During the opening session, Dimitris Manikis, vice president of business development with RCI EMEA, told the investors that putting more money into the hotels and resorts in the coming weeks and months is something they should seriously consider doing.

“With everything that is happening in the world, it is impossible to tell what will come next, we must be brave and invest in the region,” Mr Manikis told the conference.

Dubai is home to some of the most iconic and luxurious hotels in the world, including Atlantis The Palm and the Burj al Arab, which stands on its own man-made island.
