Although Dubai is well-known for being a luxurious holiday destination, the tourist officials are not neglecting those who may be looking for a more affordable break in the Emirate city.This is according to Ian Scott of Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing, who pointed out that a number of less pricey hotels have opened there recently, including a Premier Inn, three Holiday Inns and two Ibis hotels.
In addition, there are affordable options for people looking for something to do in Dubai, thanks to the shopping malls and gold souks, which offer discounted goods for bargain-hunters.
“Easily accessible, with year-round sunshine and a suburb quality of experience, Dubai can offer the affordable solution for holidaymakers seeking a longer-haul break,” Mr Scott said.
In October, Alan Leibman, president of the new Atlantis resort, also said that Dubai can offer families good value for money and that this is relevant when you’re paying in pounds or in euros.
