The amazing fountains in Dubai have been used to create a tribute to Whitney Houston.

The water features in front of the Dubai Mall have been used to create a very individual tribute to Whitney Houston.

A especially choreographed performance was created so the fountains would fire jets of water into the air in time with her chart-topping song I Will Always Love You.

The huge 900-foot fountains, set in the Burj Khalifa lake, were lit up in the evening to showcase the dramatic display of the water feature to mark the life of the superstar.

Although the song was first used with the fountains several months ago, video footage of the water feature has been viewed thousands of times online since news broke of the singer’s death.

It is one of the many tributes that have been paid around the world to the signer, who was found dead in a hotel room on Saturday February 11th.

The fountain is just one of the many things travellers will see after taking flights to Dubai, with a new zoo set to be unveiled in the state later this year.
