More and more business are heading to Dubai for their conferences.
Tourism authorities believe that Dubai is well on its way to becoming the world’s leading travel and commercial hub.
The Dubai Convention Bureau, a division of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, has already collaborated with a number of private and public sector organisations to bring some of world’s leading conferences and exhibitions to Dubai next year.
“Dubai has established a considerable reputation as an exceptional destination for meetings and conferences and has hosted some impressive international events,” Hamad Mohammad Bin Mejren, business tourism executive director told Gulf News.
In 2011, the emirate held 34 international association conferences, not including numerous corporate meetings, incentives and exhibitions
It is hardly surprising that the world’s top businesses and organisations want to head to Dubai for their meetings.
Dubai is known as the land of the seven star hotel and as such has some of the best facilities in the world.
